Very electronic driven atmospheric (or cosmic) black metal, which is something they've always perfected. This album, though it isn't my favorite, shows they still got it and they aren't slowing down anytime soon.

This is the true follow up to Litourgiya. Every song on Panihida is amazing and captures the same infernal atmosphere of the first album. Krzysztof has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that Batushka is his brainchild and does not need that failed usurper Bart. Bart failed to steal the name away in spite of the fact that he did not write a single note or word of Litourgiya. Bart didnt even write a single note or word of Hospodi, further proving that he has no right to the name of Batushka. Sid Kincl
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019
